Refrigerant air dryers

The FSN refrigerant air dryers ensure the production of quality, clean and dry air, essential to preserve the air network and the quality of the finished product. They achieve excellent performance even in unfavorable environmental conditions and high inlet temperatures. The highly efficient and ultra compact heat exchanger is able tooperate effectively in ambient temperatures up to 45 °C, ensuring a reduced compressed air pressure drop.

The electronic controller indicates the dryer operating condition (Dew Point), controls the condensate drain valve via a timer and the condenser fan via a temperature or pressure probe. The aluminium module has a vertical flow layout driving the wet compressed air flow down to the automatic drain. The circulation of the refrigerant in the system is driven by high efficiency piston or rotary refrigerant compressors which, thanks to their innovative construction, have reduced energy consumption and high reliability .

All materials are in compliance with our environmental policy: only environmentally friendly refrigerants are used. Components conform with 2011/65/CE “RoHS” (restriction of hazardous substances) and 2012/19/CE ”WEEE” (waste electrical and electronic equipment) European Directives. All the FSN refrigerated dryers are equipped with ecologic refrigerating fluid R513A.

C-DRY - Compact refrigerant air dryers

Compact size, streamlined layout and innovative solutions are the main assets of C-DRY models, that rely on a high-efficiency exchanger evolution based on the horizontal layout of the air connections that simplifies coupling and streamlines the inner flow.

R-DRY - High-performance refrigerated air dryers

The R-DRY range uses hermetic fixed-speed compressors selected according to the size of the machine. For the most compact models, up to the R-DRY 30 model, reciprocating compressors are used, while the larger sizes feature high-efficiency rotary compressors (scroll from R-DRY 240 model). To ensure high performance even in particularly demanding industrial environments, the R-DRY series feature accurately sized condensers that allow it to operate in ambient temperatures up to 45°C and with compressed air entering up to 55°C. The DRYPLUS and DRYPRO control systems automatically adjust the operation of the fan according to the temperature of the refrigerant circuit, optimizing energy consumption Nand ensuring the best operating conditions.The entire R-DRY range uses R513A refrigerant with zero ODP, so no effect on the ozone layer and low GWP compared to traditional refrigerants.

V-DRY - Variable speed refrigerant air dryers

V-DRY variable speed dryers represent the evolution of traditional refrigerated air dryers, automatically adapting their operation to the actual compressed air demand of the system. Thanks to inverter technology, the refrigeration compressor continuously adjusts its speed according to the airflow to be treated, maintaining a stable pressure dew point while reducing energy consumption during partial-load operation. The use of environmentally friendly R513A refrigerant, combined with variable speed technology, places the V-DRY range at the forefront of efficiency and sustainability. The scroll compressor and condenser fans automatically modulate their power consumption according to the required demand. The V-DRY series is equipped with an electronic controller featuring a 4.3” capacitive touchscreen display, enabling continuous monitoring of key operating parameters and optimal regulation of system components, ensuring an extremely stable dew point under all operating conditions. Thanks to the EHGBV electronic hot gas bypass valve, the dryers also feature a No-Cycling operating mode. Even under low thermal load conditions, the compressor remains running at minimum speed, while the EHGBV continuously regulates the refrigeration capacity, ensuring high performance, stable operation, and maximum reliability.

H-DRY - Refrigerant air dryers for high temperatures

The H-DRY series of dryers is specifically designed for an efficient treatment of the compressed air at high inlet temperatures.  They can withstand temperatures up to 90 °C, making them ideal for use in tropical zones and for piston compressors. This range, the only one of its kind on the market, has a built-in high efficiency pre-cooler, that ensures a reduction of the input temperature. The excellent performance and compactness of the machine reduce the pressure drop and allows quick and easy installation.
